Meet The CEO

My name is Dr. Cheryl Lockett. I am the founder and CEO of MIND Family & Social Services, Inc. (MFSS). I have a Doctorate degree in Psychology, and am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and National Certified Counselor (NCC). I have been in the social service, child welfare and mental health field for more than thirty years. I feel blessed and honored to be able to use MFSS as a vehicle to make a difference in people’s lives. I take this challenge very seriously, and I can honestly say that this is indeed my passion and my life’s work.

As the CEO of MFSS, I am challenged with hiring the best people to provide the highest quality services. We want to accommodate the needs of not only our clients, but also our referral sources; those professionals who trust their clients’ care to us. We will do everything we can to meet your expectations and to help meet the goals of our clients.

Our team is made up of dedicated professionals who include licensed psychologists, licensed therapist, supervisor trainees, masters’ level staff, certified addiction counselors, registered nurses, parent aids, and community support individuals all available to meet the mental health needs of the client.
